I am writing a poem for my sister. We will both be visiting our parents tonight, in spirit of the Dutch tradition of Sinterklaas. The poem will geminate my gift to her; a set of knitting needles. They are a special kind of knitting needles, intended to be used for assembling different parts of knitting-work into one. I learned people need the kind of knitting needles I purchased for assembling different parts of knitting-work. The poem currently consists of 204 words, although I have yet to remove some words I used as notes. The actual number of words will most likely be around 190 words. I know my parents will find a 190 word poem insufficient, which means I have to add words. I estimate that I will have to add at least another 200 words for my parents to be satisfied. So, for the past hour, I have been staring at my computer, questioning my poetry skills. I noticed this does not improve productivity, neither does writing this post. This post contains 183 words, which is 7 words shy of my poem.
