I am writing a research essay that asks the question How is the Australian lifestyle affecting the natural environment that is a short version of the question. However when you look at the question it is not as simple as it seems. I am stuck. What really is the Australian lifestyle? By saying Australian lifestyle this does not mean areas of lifestyle that are similar to the worlds lifestyle. So what is it that makes Australian lifestyle different from the Worlds lifestyle and the natural environment. The question is nagging me. Australia is a multi cultural society of immigration. It is different now compared to 10 yrs, 100 yrs and 200 yrs etc ago. Then the fact Aboriginals are not Australian. We migrated here we did not immigrate here AND we have our own flag, Lore and family structure, so I have taken Aboriginals out of the equation of inclusion as Australians because we are not English sovereign Australian citizens. We are custodians of Country since the beginning of time. So how do you answer the actual question of the research article. The World lifestyle is world wide. So what is the actual Australian lifestyle that is different from the world lifestyle. What IS the Australian lifestyle and what specific lifestyle that is different from the World lifestyle that is impacting the natural environment of Country. Remembering that multi cultural Australia IS how many different cultures here that do we even know nowadays what the Australian lifestyle is anymore, that is different from other countries lifestyles. Think about it. What is the Australian lifestyle of multi cultural immigrated Australia today? It is not thongs, bonds singlets, hills hoist, victa mower, hamburgers and meat pies anymore. The spirit? Dont say beer because look at how many other countries have Vic Bitter on their shelves as well and it is multi cultural now. Movies depict the old version of Aussie, Aussie Crocodile Dundee and it just isnt THE Australian Lifestyle anymore. BBQs are not the only lifestyle we have. What is the Australian lifestyle? Also did the Australian lifestyle start with the Eureka stockade, because when Cook came here and all the process and lifestyle before that were English lifestyles! Not Australian lifestyle. So when did the Australian lifestyle start and how has it evolved? What has it evolved to be interpreted as, to be able to answer the bloody question?
