I am writing this under my sisters name, but its me, Shelby Brammer, and I miss you all (some may not remember me) and the 1970s, or what I call the last of the good times. I have fled Austin and Drama Dept. Chair job for the green country of Bartlesville, OK (hometown of my partner), and my mother, Nadine, and sister are here, too. Will be directing OUR TOWN for Joe Sears (Greater Tuna) in the spring (its his hometown, too, also Terrence Malicks), and will start teaching Theatre Appreciation in about two weeks at the local college. Sidney and I call it Bartle-doon (like Brigadoon) because its lovely (about 30,000 souls and a hotel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright) and no one knows about it. If youre ever in the area, let us know. Lots of history here. I saw Rick before he passed on and am so grateful. He was wonderful, made me wish Id seen him more over the years. We had the same birthday, and I asked him what he thought we had in common. I am reclusive by nature, and was always jealous of his confidence and charm. Had also been in touch with Tim after many years without contact, and we traded letters and photos before he died. I think of him often. Am not on Facebook, but came across you all because an authors page has been created for our father, Billy Lee Brammer, since his novel, The Gay Place has just been produced as an e-book? Am I saying that right? You can see how technically sophisticated I am. Love you all very much. Thanks for letting me butt in. Shelby
