On April 23-24, 2014, the College Board will host the 10th annual, A Dream Deferred: The Future of African American Education Conference, which will be held at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA. This conference assembles education professionals from throughout the nation who want to share strategies and best practices that have helped African American students achieve academic excellence. This year’s featured speakers include broadcast journalist Soledad O’Brien; author and educator Shaun Harper; Sr. VP with Boys and Girls Club of America Damon Williams, and College Board President David Coleman. Conference participants will form new connections and collaborate with colleagues across the country.
