I am writing to please ask all of you (dog rescue friends/partners-in-crime included) to not tag me with any pictures of dogs needing help or rescue, send them to me in an email (group or otherwise), or any type of dog plea (except to help raise money for a dog already rescued and needing help). I am done, so done with rescue for now (except to those I am already committed to helping). I just cannot do it anymore. Not looking for public kudos here or to be more of a drama queen than usual but I wanted to do a blanket statement. I want to spend time with our kiddos and the husband (who has free time now that college football is over), work a ridiculous amount of hours each week, go to school, read lots of books, and watch Duke basketball (and NASCAR starts in just about a month!). It isnt that I do not love dogs anymore and that my heart doesnt break for all of those that need help and that I should and could have helped by doing this. That part kills me.
