I announced to Deuce at 5:30p that it was time to get ready for church. He put his clothes on and went outside to look for his shoes...you keep your shoes on the front porch, right? he never came back. at 5:40p, i look around outside and hes nowhere to be found. i take one more look around and i spot him...underneath Daddys truck in a hole that Scout has dug out, with the dog. All i can see are his eyes shining. I was pretty sure we were not going to make it to church since he was now covered head to toe in dirt and smelled like the dog, but he booked it in the house and wiped down and we headed on. so, i apologize to Stephanie Barron because he wanted to sit with her tonight...he doesnt always smell like the dog and look like he took a dirt bath!
