I announced yesterday my retirement from being Flabby Hoffman out of my mind with anguish from a combination of my efforts to hang onto my health, the death of some people close to me, recent colossal failures of unrivaled futility and some disrespectful backstabbing that made me look and feel like a doormat and of course the disaster movie I have been doing (and not disaster as in Towering Inferno I mean everyone that looks at the my movie says what a disaster). But through both the amazingly inspiring responses subsequent to my announcement from some of the many tremendous people in my life and through some self-reflection, I realize there is no denying who or what I am and perhaps there is some measure of success in failure I suppose…so long as it’s a spectacular failure....and of at least that I can be assured. So I guess its once more into the fray my dear friends. Let loose the dogs of war and cry havoc! Bring on the greasepaint, theres unfinished business to attend to.
