I apologise in advance for the number of new photos I have just added as part of this post, but my dad, John Hayes, cannot resist capturing me on camera. I know he does it because he loves me, but there are probably some very undignified photos of me sitting on his phone at the moment. I mean, what kind of lady wants to be photographed when she is clearing out her bowels and bladder? Not very dignified at all, is it. Talking of pee-ing, I have to report I had an accident today when I was out with John and Davina Benito in Putney Exchange Shopping Centre in London. We were walking back to the car when a rather pressing need overcame me and I stopped outside a parade of shops and relieved myself in full view of the shopping centres security guards and hundreds of passers by. To make matters worse, the place where I peed was on a slight incline so instead of the gathering in a pool, it began to run down the hill. Needless to say the security guards were not too impressed, but they did clean up after me, which saved John and Davina having to do the job. They werent too impressed and we scarpered pretty quickly from the scene of the crime. I must admit, it was a funny kind of day, as my parents decided they would take me shopping. I just cannot see the fascination of places such as TK Maxx, Marks and Spencer and River Island, as there was nothing in them for me. I am much more at home in Pets At Home, where 95% of the stuff is geared towards our needs. It is much more fun sniffing armongst the Rawhide bones which are very cleverly placed at nose level, and as for the section where the treats are stored - well that is Doodle Heaven. I am not sure if I told you, but one of the presents that John and Davina received at Christmas was a lovely pastel portrait of Yours Truly. Well,, they took it a picture framers today and we should get it back, fully framed, in two weeks time to hang at the entrance to Casa Lucys. It is going to be sensational, I look almost as enigmatic as the Mona Lisa and cannot wait to hang it on the wall. I am available as an Artists Model if anybody else wants to paint me. Just call my agents, John and Davina, and I am sure we can come to some kind of arrangements. I also returned to Puppy Training Classes this week. I graduated from the Puppy Training Foundation Class before Christmas with my good friend Vinny the Dachshund / Jack Russell cross and we joined a class with two other dogs, Hugo, a Pashendale Terrier, and Molly, a lovely Labrador. These classes are going to be much more difficult and I will really need to focus on what I am doing if I want to progress, and that is most certainly my intention. I have also had a lot of play time with John this week, and I love it when he gives me the opportunity to play bite him. He says that playing with me is like wrestling a giant Teddy Bear as I am so fluffy. If he thinks I am a giant now, just wait until I have finished growing in a few months time. I now weigh 12.4kgs and could possibly double in size by the time I am finished. Looking forward to being a really big Doodle, and adding lots more photos and making lots more Dood friends on Facebook. Thanks for reading my latest post. Ciao for now, Lucy xxx
