I apologize ahead of time for my candor but, long-overdue rant coming in 3...2...1... STOP! Just STOP with the WHERES YOUR HELMET? holier-than-thou bulls***! We get it, youre into safety. We get it, YOU wear your helmet proudly. We get the umteen reasons WHY we SHOULD wear our helmets every time. You are absolutely right. The bottom line is though...I am sure not EVERY decision in your life is a pure one so just get off your high horse (no pun intended) and KNOCK IT OFF! Keep it to yourself. It is fine to have YOUR beliefs and wear YOUR helmet, make YOUR kids wear their helmets but commenting on a pic someone proudly posts of their animal or child actually achieving something and the only thing you have to say is wheres the helmet?... up yours! Dont undermine someones achievements by spouting off safety rules (be them right or wrong). It is not necessary. I am sure they are well aware of the existence of helmets and that patronizing statement never results in OMG, youre right! Thank you so much for pointing that out. I cant believe I forgot my helmet. You saved me from future traumatic brain injury solely by commenting on my FB post.
