I apologize for posting late. Still dealing with my infant grandson Mick that we are walking into his healing. Days and nights have been excruciatingly long. But we are getting there. Thanks for your patience and continued prayers. Blessings! ~ Melody G. McFadden Devotion: Perspective Is….. - by Patricia Bowman Phelps Perspective Is….. There is a time in everyone’s life when we will face tough times or even tragedy. How we handle these moments is what matters. Perspective is the key. Many times people believe that just because they join church, get baptized, or give their life to Christ; that they will no longer have problems. When you have a relationship with Jesus, it helps you to see things differently. Aligning yourself with what gives Jesus the Glory is the first step to Spiritual victory. It is during the tough times that we blame satan for our circumstances. The truth is - satan is here to kill, steal and destroy. Although he is clever, cunning, attractive, and is very good at disguising himself as an angel, do not give him that power. If you are wondering whether something or someone is of God or not, ask yourself “does this Glorify Jesus?” Anything that takes away from Jesus is not God’s will. Are you content with where you are in your spiritual walk or do you want more? Are you just going through the motions or are you seeking to get closer in your relationship with God? Be like a tree that can withstand heavy winds and not fall to the ground. Use your roots to expand and get what is required for you to survive. Perspective is the key. Change yours. In Jesus name.
