I apologize for the interruption in my five day challenge from Linda Crank and Mark Norseth. Here is day four. Today I thought I would start with my very first attempt at painting on the spot trying to render what was before me. This was under the guidance of Bob Hunter. From this I will never understand why he encouraged me. The second is Springtime in the Public Garden, that wonderful time of year when only a few trees and the grass is green the flowering trees are starting to bud. And last, Ray Court in Nantucket, a short little unpaved road in the heart of Nantucket that makes you feel like you are in the 19th century. Along with Carl Samson, I would like to nominate my friend and very fine painter as well as great teacher and historian, Darren Richard Rousar for this five day challenge.
