I apologize for the very-much OT post. I hope the Barony will understand. I am on an e-mail list, through my church, that has sent out an *urgent* request from St. Stephens in Ferguson. Theyve had their usual supply lines of people bringing in food and supplies dry up almost completely in the last week. (For some reason, folks from other areas in the county seem unwilling to go St. Stephens, right now). They were critically low on food, until one of the local groceries (on the condition of anonymity) made a fairly large donation. Now, however, they are faced with a *desperate* need for paper products and baby items. They need paper towels and toilet paper, diapers, wipes, and toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.). My church is going to do a collection on Sunday. If anyone wants to bring things like this to meeting tomorrow, I will cheerfully transport them to my church on Sunday, which will then be taken to St. Stephens on Monday. St. Stephens has a been a safe place, a meeting place, and a light of hope for people dealing with terrible upheaval in the past 10 days. Any help you are willing to give will be MUCH appreciated.
