I apologize in advance for the language I am going to use...but I have had it. I am going to try this once again. There is a huge rookery with breeding protected waterbirds in Winter Park....Great White Herons..Snowy Egrets..Great Blue Herons and Anhingas.. This rookery started after hurricane Charlie. There are hundreds and hundreds of these protected birds that make their nests in that Kraft park on Alabama, I watch two to three professional photographers taking pics every morning. It is something to behold. Something you would see in the Everglades. These birds make simple nests..like doves do....these babies are falling to their deaths every single day. I cannot walk by this park anymore every morning to see dead chicks on the ground. I have used up all my resources will allow. Step up to the plate Winter Park...Get off your goddamn high horses and do the right thing. I have nicely posted this a couple time with barely a response. These birds need protection. I have 200 facebook friends that live in Winter Park... 2 responded. Please..I am begging here.,...call whoever you have to. I will gladly pick them up and deliver to Back To Nature Wildlife Refuge where they at least have a chance.
