I apologize in advance for the long post - Im sure we all get stopped by people who are curious or admire our slicks. Thats part of the fun right? Tonight I took my daughter up to the gas station to get a frozen drink she likes and there was a man waiting by my truck when we left the store. He was waiting for the owner of the truck so he could shake my hand and compliment me. He told me a story about how his dad had the same truck and how he had passed away on Dec 27, 2005. He was a little choked up and said the truck brought tears to his eyes and made him remember his dad. I listened to him talk about how much his dad loved that truck for a few minutes and then he shook my hand, congratulated me and was on his way. Real nice guy. Made me feel like the long days of turning wrenches and busted knuckles were worth it to see the look in his eyes and witness how my truck brought back good memories of his dad.
