I apologize in advance for this negative status.. but I need to vent! How dare you call me stupid for following my dreams. How dare you tell what I can and cant do!!. Yes god gave me one arm but he also put the passion to barrel race in me as well. So why would I sit at home and say poor me. Like you would like to see. Yes I use a majic seat. It helps me with my disadvantages. Martha Josey used it as well. Why not me. No not all barrel racers grab the horn ..but they also are not off balance by missing an arm on one side. You say if i have to strap myself on I should find a different sport. I say watch me succeed in what I love and you can kiss my A**. Im not tied on its Velcro and I can get off easy just like you can pull a Velcro strap on a shoe. If I need off its very easy it just helps a little. And its not your business. If I listened my whole life to people who told me I shouldnt or couldnt.. they would have made me truly disabled!!! I chose the I will and absolutely can!!! Through the centuries people have judged and critisized people who werent made for or strong enough .. or the right height. Or natural talent... It was the people who stood up and said I will not let people who are NOT in my shoes dictate what I can and cant do. That made the wonderful stories and life achievements.. That are the great stories of history .. Not saying Ill ever be history but Id like to think I follow in those greats footsteps.
