I apparently have to explain some of my recent tweets. Sorry if I was unclear. Here goes. Im specifically talking here about presidential nominations. And its not ideology, its simple math. Consider this: If theres Romney for the moderates, and Bachmann, Santorum, Paul, Gingrich, Johnson, Perry, and Cain... then what happens? The conservatives each get 5% or 10% or %15% ... and then Romney gets the nomination with just 30 or 35 percent of each early primary. Now, is it really the moderates fault that Romney gets that nomination? They ran somebody. They ran their guy. They have the right to do so. And we conservatives make the conscious, foolish choice to split our votes between a bunch of people, only a couple of whom should practically have been considered in the first place... so that no conservative has a chance of winning the nomination. Whose fault is it? Its ours.
