I appear to be on of the few people who actually supports Rex Ryan coming to Atlanta and heres my personal 10 reasons why: 1. Two things he never had in NY was a QB and a Receiving corps which Atlanta does 2. Matt Ryan would have most control of the offense which is a good thing 3. One thing on offense Rex is adamant about is a POWER run game. Which finally Atlanta will have if they bring him in. What teams this year have a power run game? Seattle, Denver, Green Bay, Dallas, Patriots now with Blount back. Not a coincidence they are in the playoffs. 4. Rex will take Atlantas Defense and make them superstars which is perilous in a up and coming Carolina team, a flashy Saints offense, and a rebuilding Lovey Smith Bucs team 5. The Falcons are a way more solid organization than the Jets 6. Rex has multiple playoff wins and appearances 7. Rex has excellent clock management and good coaching decisions. Challenges the right plays, and takes timeouts at appropriate times. Something Smitty lacked very badly 8. Everyone rips Rex for being a poor evaluator of offense talent, well thats okay because we are stacked on Offense. Especially if Toilolo can find some hands this offseason 9. Players LOVE to play for Rex Ryan. Listen to sports talk radio and insider reports and find out how much the players respect and buy in to Rexs system. Players will play better when they believe in the coach and system 10. The Jets set Rex up for failure by drafting guys like Geno Smith, letting Revis walk, bringing in guys like Eric Decker for max contracts etc. Arthur Blank is the man! He will surround Rex with the right supporting cast to make him twice the coach he was at the Jets. Especially if Blank keeps Dimitrov on a tight leash. Rex is just about the opposite of Smitty, and if we were opposite this year then wed be 10-6 not 6-10. Everyone is scared because he has sucked it up last two seasons but so has Smitty! People forget guys like Tony Dungee failed at bad programs before landing the right one with the right amount of support and good ownership which the Falcons have. Bring him in Arthur. Dont waste our time on unproven Coordinators that could be hit or miss. People know what Rex can do
