I appreciate everyone waiting for results to be posted from the Northern Prairie Shootout. I have been out of the area for sometime with no reliable wifi connections. Also the buckle series!! Congrats to ALL!! From Danette Gwin It was one fantastic weekend with beautiful weather, many fun events from Friday nights Mystery Event, to Poco’s Road Apple Bingo (did his duty in the trailer in the 4 miles to home), Quick Draw Competition, to a great supper all for the Mesothelioma Cancer Awareness Benefit for Greg Lund. Everyone was so grateful that Greg was able to ride in the shoot, camp and spend time with us. He’s looking good! Tom & Lahna Haverkamp really did a “bang” up job on the Northern Prairie Shoot with the special events, wonderful registration prizes and great level winner awards. There was one person that was missed though and that was Match Director, Kyle Wavra, who has started a new adventure in his life with a new job and at present is out in Montana. Thanks for all your help, Kyle. All together over the two day shoot there were 5 Move Up Wins: Sara Sara Erhardt Schank on Saturday from L3 to L4, Kailyn Hrynyshyn on Sunday from L1 to L2, Dan Bertils on Sunday from M3 to M4, Kolt Wavra on Sunday from M1 to M2 and Reis Wolf on Sunday from M2 to M3. First in the Overall on Saturday was Paul Duncombe and first in the Overall on Sunday was Reis Wolf. Hope everyone had a safe trip back home. See you at Mamma Jean’s Revenge on November 1st & 2nd in Crookston! The Northern Minnesota Buckle Series was finished at the Northern Prairie Shoot in Twin Valley ending with the following results: Division 3 – L1 & L2 winner: Libby Hoffmann Wickum; Division 3 – M1 & M2 winner: Tom Haverkamp Division 2 – L3 & L4 winner: Lahna Haverkamp Division 2 – M3 & M4 winner: Dan Bertils Division 1 – L5 & L6 winner: Laura Pikop Division 1 – M5 & M6 winner: Paul Duncombe Each winner received an engraved Montana Silversmith Belt Buckle.
