I appreciate posts and articles that inform in a non biased way and allow me to make my own decision. But, once the point starts getting preached, youve turned me off, I dont care how valid your point is. Preaching says, Im right, you are wrong. I dont care what the facts say, how well do you think people are going to listen when you are preaching how right you are, and anyone who disagrees is wrong? If you truly believe in your cause, and truly want people to listen, lay out the facts in a non biased way, share your personal experience, listen to your readers, and give them the freedom and opportunity to make their own decision. Only when you get off your pedestal, will you connect with your readers and have the power to get your point across. Otherwise, you are preaching to the choir, and whats the point of that other than sharing the same hot air?
