I appreciated she has been extremely misguided in how she expresses her cause and how she fights for her vision of the state. But citizenship is not some kind of token that you can take away when you dont like how a person behaves. Hasnt there already been enough of exiling people? You cant make someone stateless because they are annoying or objectionable. You cant even make them stateless when they actually commit a crime (which she hasnt as far as I know). I am always amazed at how people complain about overreach of state power and then when someone pisses them off, they petition to give the state more power to exert control. Did it ever occur that these powers you want to bestow could eventually be used against you?
