I arrived @ Rehab Brutton yesterday. Having spent 7 days and 6 nights in Barnes hospital . While the care I received was exceptional and as close to family as it can be ,it just doesnt have the same healing power,with my daughter in laws ongoing watchful eye the staff made sure I did not receive a roommate and that was huge additional healing benefit. I witnessed first hand you dont mess with the people Katie love, I am so glad I am one of them. I have to say it took a village my entire family to get me to surgery . A long story for a holiday event. But knowing that Kevin Wallis Amy Fedak Wallis Todd Wallis Katie Regnery Wallis Mike Brutton Amy Wallis Brutton where there to make sure I didnt runaway when they started their laundry list of what could go wrong yet another time. Then seeing them all together was what has gotten me though. When you have family you have everything. Thank you everyone for being their on your 15 hour watch and wait. I arrive @ Rehab Brutton to the most amazing loving air hugs at first, then very careful hugs and kisses.from Maddie ,Sarah ,Colin and Gizmo who would not be left out.:) . Amy and Mike must have taught the kids to say nana do you need anything ?do you want anything? It was so cute every once in awhile just out of no where Sarah or Colin would be busy doing something see me and repeat the nana do you need mantra. Lol Looking ahead my plan is to be here for a few days with home Care with Physical Therapy for strengthening. Then back home to start preparing to become totally independent and return to work ASAP I sincerely want to thank everyone for all your prayers .I would be feeling like there is no way I can do this or that yet and suddenly I would find a surge of strength . And I would know God just released some prayer request. Prayer is no small thing. Thanks for every single one of them .
