I arrived in Indiana Tuesday to find the box of my books delivered by UPS on Monday had been stolen from the front of my home (it is the second package Ive had stolen from my front porch in recent months). I was thinking whoever stole the box was going to be disappointed when they found it was filled with 50 copes of my new book, Autobiography of an Orgasm. Today the box, opened, was tossed on my front porch. You can purchase the paperback on Amazon or the eBook on Kobo. If you are in Indy and see me in the next few days, Ill have some copies with me for sale. Thanks to the honest thief for returning the books, but I cant believe they didnt even keep one book out of curiosity! Here is a recent Amazon review of my book from writer Matthew Stillman (stillmansays/): This is a short but excellent book. Do you know the origins of the word sincere? It is Latin. There were two kinds of marble used for temples and building - really pretty stuff that was smooth and naturally fairly finished but not as strong and then there was the marble that was pockmarked, had holes in it but much, much stronger. This kind of stone needed way poured into the holes to finish the stone for presentation. The word for wax in Latin is cere and the prefix sin means without so the raw stone was sincere or without wax Betsy has shown her sincerity in this book. She shows her marks and flaws and in so doing she shows her strength and her heartbreak. The connection she alludes to between grief and loss feeding life and feeding orgasm are beautiful. Betsy has clearly covered a lot of ground and relates it well. I found myself moved in many sections. I have helped some along a similar journey with some of the same tools and methods Betsy has, but to get that sincere look at the entire arc of her path thus far was stirring.
