I as a blackman, am sorry for the loss of another young blackman - TopicsExpress

I as a blackman, am sorry for the loss of another young blackman at the hands of a city policeman who sees blackmen as nothing more than targets, to assert the authority of his gun and badge, to take a life without consequence or forethought of a door with promise, he just closed. All over this country people of color fall dead from acts of unblemished violence from policeman who have taken an oath to protect and serve but, another brother lies dead, life ripped from his soul. To his mother Im sorry for the pain in your heart and the tears that stain your face, my prayers go out to you, may the hand of God lift up your face, wipe away your tears and help you to stand filled with Gods unfailing Grace. While I understand the unbridled anger displayed by the actions of some members within that young mans community, we must as a people learn we cannot give reason out of frustration and anger, to those who seek justifications to deny our right to stand against the tyranny of unfounded shootings by over zealous police officers. We as a people united, without disgrace or fault must stand collectively to protest the wrongs of those we hold responsible for injustice, our might is in our inalienable right to protest and demand that wrongs committed against those within our communities will be righted for we stand as one voice unabated. We stand as a community to provide a pillar of strength to that young mans family, whom we know, were not prepared for the taking of his life. We stand in hopes that our cries for justice will be heard by those who have the power to eradicate injustice, even though a young blackman still lies dead Most of all we stand to say enough , enough police abusive tactics directed at young men of color, and enough of the killing of young blackmen by police officers in communities all across this nation We will continue to stand as one voice from with in every community, in every city representing every state seeking the rightful justice, for those who have lost their lives unjustly. Please if you agree sign on and this post will be forwarded to the police departments in Ferguson, Mo & NYC.
