I ask again. On the 7th May 2014. We will all go out for a political party that has the strongest policy to eliminate corruption, improve standart of our education, provide conduce policy framework for economic development and job creation. Then we go back home. The party you voted will not know you voted for them. They do not care about you. They care about themeselves only. As long as they can win seats in parliament, legislatures and municipal councils. So my question is why do we need to belong to ppolitical parties? Cant we just decide every 5 years as to who gets our vote based on the QUALITY of their DELIVERY over the previous TERM. Is it for paying monthly/annual subscriptions? For what in return? When you pay premiums for insurance, funeral schemes, burial societies and clubs ,etc the benefits are clearly articulated and they only apply or accrue to paid up members. Political parties offer nothing in between elections, zilch, zero, 0, naught letho, lutho. Instead they cost you. Meetings, conferences, regalia, etc. #Just thinking# Please help clear my mind. They are like sports teams. Millions of us follow & support them and watch them play for our own entertainment and voluntarily buy their regalia or clothing range from other unrelated or private businesses. But we do not need to belong to them, they do not know us and they do not care about us as individuals. They value us only as big numers, statistics Baba/Sisi.
