I asked Chris Robinson to tell me the THREE big takeaways from his teams experience carrying seven memorial stones of The Summit Project 114 miles to Maines highest peak -- Here is what he said (paraphrased): 1. The 100 miles is tough humping with 60 pounds but each member made positive connections to the stones as well as surviving family members; 2. The topside service on Katahdin was memorable as their celebration garnered spontaneous applause from a big gathering of hikers at Baxter Peak. 3. Each of my team members certainly felt the weight of carrying the stones, as it should be! Thanks Chris. Thanks for being part of The Summit Project living memorial. We cant wait for your trip reports and other reflections. Thanks for inspiring others to honor the fallen by challenging the living. Thanks for living a life worthy of their sacrifice. MHANF. djc
