.. I asked a young man about his aspirations .. He said I wanna become a big time preacher instantly my mood dropped. It saddens me to see so many young men forsake the life of becoming an accomplished man .. because they wanna become a big time preacher .. Thats the wrong motive in ministry anyway!! Go to school, finish school, learn a trade, purchase some land, open a REPUTABLE business .. Young man you have the energy and innovation to DO IT! Stop chasing that look and chase God! Forget all of the showcase preaching. If its burning in you that much.. Theres homeless people who need to know Jesus .. Preach to them, go to the prisons, go to the orphanages etc.. Seems like we have a generation of ministers addicted to pulpit preaching ... You can succeed academically, financially, economically and socially with God functionally operative in all those areas. Dont be that broke preacher whose invested many of years pursuing the look of ministry and not the BOOK of ministry (Bible). #RecessIsOver
