I asked earlier: What is worshiping in Spirit and Truth? 21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” First, we see that the hour was coming (Has already) in which worship could not, would not and should not be defined by a geographical location. Second, we see that there are true worshipers, so that means that there also must be false worshipers. Hmmmmmm. True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Third, God is a Spirit. Our flesh can only offer tainted worship. It is not a matter of whether or not you measure up. You never can. We must enter into the realm of the spirit. To do so, we must lay aside ANYTHING that we want, desire or need. Our focus must be on God and what He needs. (Yes, he has needs) We must remember that Jesus is Truth. So, simply put, we must come through Christ (Truth) and minister to the Father. More later.......
