I asked my mom - Is being a mom the hardest job youve had? She replied with - (Jokingly stating) Being your mom, Thomas James, would put most women into cardiac arrest. She continued on - Well, you get paid at jobs and someone is always over your shoulder telling you to do it better; you can quit jobs and get fired, so Ive never thought of being your mom as a job. I cant quit being your mom and no matter how hard you try, you cant fire me. Being your mom has been a gift and not a job. Its been my passion to live for two people and thats your brother and you; nobody else, not even your dad. People do what they want with their gifts; Ive always felt the best action was absolute love and only being absolute will anyone ever be able to say that parenting is not a job.
