I asked my wife to buy me some wheat germ while she was at the store this morning. She didnt buy my usual brand, she found something cheaper. I tried it and it didnt taste as good because it wasnt toasted. So I tried toasting it in our toaster oven. I used the light setting twice with no results, it was barely even warm. Then I tried the medium setting and when the bell dinged I looked to see that it was completely black. As I went to get a pot holder it burst into flames that extended a foot above the toaster charring the cabinet above it. Another minute and the whole kitchen would have been on fire.
