I attended Cardinal Mooney, a Catholic high school. At time I was enrolled the girls all wore gray, or blue skirts, white shirts, and vests. By wearing this uniform I was easily identifiable as a student at Mooney. No longer was I permitted to wear the plaid uniform of St. Dominic’s. My new uniform was evidence that I had left middle school behind and had advanced to high school. As Christians we too are required to wear uniforms. Our uniforms, however are spiritual. Those of us who choose to put on Gods uniform will be easily recognized as children of God. That means we are nolonger attired in the things of the world. If we are to move forward in becoming who we were created to be, we too must change our uniforms, or clothes. This is confirmed in Colossians 3:10, And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect [b]knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it. It is now 2015. We who call ourselves Christians should examine ourselves to see if others can see the Christ in us. If He is not as visible, as He should be, why not make a conscious effort to change your clothes?
