I attended a HAM FEST in Belton today ... I saw some of the oldest and widest variety of radio gear Ive seen in a while. I even saw an old Hallicrafter CB Unit like I used to have, before CBs became popular! It was in the early 70s ... had 6 channels, for which you buy crystals for the channels you want, and tubes (yes tubes). It had awesome sound! I learned a lot today ... about radio gear, about our history and development in communications, and I made some good friends too! (see pic - Hallicrafter CB 6-channel)
