I attended training at our corporate offices in Raleigh this week... Actually enjoyed it! Some of it consisted of traditional training methods, but also we had a lot of fun, too. At one point, we were broken into teams of 5 each (approx 20 teams)... Then we were given a made-up scenario about a school district and each team had an hour to prepare a 10 minute pitch on Why Lenovo?. A perfect score was 40 points... the superintendent (who was also judging the contest) was actually the GM of Lenovo North America, Tom Looney... It was intimidating, but we rocked it... Most teams scored in the mid and low 20s... we scored 38... Yeah, out of a possible 40, we delivered a 38. The winning team (thats us) each received a new Lenovo 10 Yoga Tablet and a $250 Amex gift card... WINNING! :-) Heres a commercial for the tablet we won: youtube/watch?v=_t2ouvLZqiM
