I awoke to my typical bout of sickness, and the room may have spun a bit when I sat upright, but when I remembered that I had more mosaic making ahead of me today I threw back the covers, and began my morning with a smile. Took my morning round of medicine, washed down with some hot coffee that my husband had ready for me, and after the pain was easing off, I prepared breakfast. Fresh eggs from my chickens sizzling in the pan and the steaming pot of coffee, filled the room with a delicious welcome to the morning. After that I was fortified and ready to begin. I filled another cup of coffee and walked into my studio area to sit in front of a glittering array of colorful glass that awaited cutting for todays work on the project downtown, and I felt very content in my little part of the world. I never forget how lucky I am ...because even though I do not have much...I am able to do the thing that I love, I have a home that I created, and I am surrounded by things that make me happy. What more can anyone ask for? Wishing everyone a beautiful morning/evening...depending on where you are in the world
