I awoke to the radio giving news that the NHS reckon they could save money if they gave more support to over 75 yr olds after discharging them from hospital to save on potential re admissions later.....really ?! THIS has been niggling me all day & why? Because why the Feck has it taken this feckin long to realise, er, were living longer & yes when you hit 75, oh yeah, were still human & DO need more attention than the younger of the race & do still need the aid of a doctor occasionally. Well come on whoever created the road to neglect, of the older of the human race within the NHS system, old people are human just like the rest of us, hellooo, old people are just as important as anyone else! God bless the doctors & nurses that do the wonderful work that they do, not knockin that, someone just get the system sorted ! Stop the duplicate letters being sent out, stop referring people to the wrong hospitals, stop your PCs referring people for small procedures they know nothing about, stop sending out conflicting appointment times, there, ave that! Some more ways to save money ! Really f**kin peed off that there is a need to reassess how over 75 yr olds are treated, who said to stop what we need when we hit 75 ?!! Who decided on 75? You know what, in my opinion, there should be no age limit, everyone should all get what theyre entitled to regardless of age !
