I became a disciple of Jesus Christ on February 19th, 1994. The mentioning of a specific may come across as tacky since spiritual age is not as relevant as most other aspects of Christianity. Being a Christian is being a Christian and thats that. Whether or not one has been so for much longer than someone else never determines his or her ultimate spiritual fate. With that written, here is an actual fact: the Abidjan International Church of Christ was planted in November 1989 by a team of fifteen valiant soldiers in Christ from various other nations, way richer, more comfortable and more developed nations such as the U.S. I celebrate these sacrificial heroes, these very examples of self denial, every time I think of the day I was officially converted as a Christian. I mean had it not been for these guys , I, alongside a huge bulk of my biological family would not have come across God. But you want to know who else are absolute heroes like this team of missionaries? You my fellow Christian! You who, every year, despite already financially sacrificing weekly for contribution, organize yourself in order to participate yearly in the more global and impactful special collection, you, my friend, are a hero. My mothers, my father, my paternal grand parents, my maternal grand parents, my great grand mother, two of my beautiful sisters, five of my amazing and handsome brothers, my two aunties, my two cousins, my two adoptive sisters, my two brothers in law and plenty of other warriors would not have become , alongside myself, DISCIPLES of Jesus Christ and servants of the Most High God. Trust me when I write this brothers and sisters, as this is the most important thing you can take from this lengthy status, YOUR FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS, BOTH LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL save lives. I am a total living and walking example of someone who as been directly touched, impacted and saved by your money. I have the privilege to know many of you and to say to you THANK YOU personally. But just think about the person that you will most likely only see in PARADISE, the person who lives in Africa or the Middle East or South America or Europe and understand that a huge part of their making it to HEAVEN will have been your money, the one that God gives you. THANK YOU ALL FOR SAVING MY LIFE! THANK YOU THANK UOU THANK YOU AND MUCH MORE THANKS TO YOU HEROES!!!
