The challenge is to invert the dome to the side to figure the side angle cuts as well whether it is a 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4 dome. Vertical [radius/diameter] and horizontal [circumference] angles. UNORTHODOX APPROACH Lets say 5/8 dome [5÷8=.625] 360ºx.625=225º of a sphere 225º divided by layers of piece assembly desired, shorter the height the more detail to structures sphere, smoother look not angled look. Near top of sphere using shorter piece assembly cuts for greater radius require the angle cuts to be divided. Circumference angles same as previous method for it is a sphere. Hmmmm The attempt, only life challenges I like are these. [-_-]
