I began my five-day pilgrimage tour yesterday. After making to chennai on a flight from Mumbai, I accompanied some relations with similar thought in train and we first got down in a place called aadudurai few kms from a place called mayiladudurai which is mani Shankar Aiyer constituency. Aadudurai is known for paddy research . Here all types of paddy is experimented . Size aroma, yield and time are experimented. Time means you get paddy seed you can grow from nine weeks to 19 weeks. Yield though promised it depends on soil conditions. In this place there are no roads. The only connectivity is train. Roads are there but namesake. You can see scientists in this town having a morning walk in the platforms. From here we went to my home town kumbakonam the temple town the country. In case you pray that you will 108 temples in one day, you can do it in one day, every turn, every corner, every nukkad you have a temple. In the last pictures, you can see two small dwellings. The white coloured one is the place where I was born, since in those days there are no hospitals I believe my mother gave me birth with the help if midwife, a concept most stable and popular in 60s. The house was too small and narrow but too long. From one end of the road to other end. The green painted house is an addition in these last 50 years. I will post later the interior of the house and its convenience (inconvenience more) later. I will take you through all temples I visited over a period of time. Am a chief guest in a school on aug 15 for flag hosting. I studied in a school here for first two years. Std 1 and std 2. Later on I shifted to Nagpur. Am visiting that school too and update you guys.
