I began my journey back in 2009 when the army told me I couldnt run anymore due to an injury in my hip. I was at a point in my life where I was in constant pain and didnt like working out due to the pain. It wasnt until I changed my state of mind and turned the negative into something positive. It has been a very long journey of sweat, sore muscles, focused determination and consistancy that has brought me to this point. My baby girl will be 8mo old in a few wks and all I can tell you is the train DOESNT STOP HERE! I read a post on here about over training. In my opinion, it depends on the individuals body, drive and motivation. I took preworkout before pregnancy and completely went clean and didnt take any suppliments except protein shakes and 1 cup of coffee. My drive was still within me to reach my goals regardless of the fact that I had a life growing inside me. I workouted throughout my entire pregnancy and less than 3wks after birth, I was back in the gym killing it. But that is bcuz I know what works for me and I listen to my body. It is not always about genetics or overtraining. Its about knowing your body, what works for you and what doesnt but being consistant and staying focused on your goals. Obsession is a word the lazy use on those who are dedicated to this lifestyle. What are your goals and what will you do to reach them?
