I begin this day surrendered. I am grateful for the Love that has been shown me by forces seen and unseen. I do not have all the answers....but I know there are answers. I believe with all my heart, it is my job to only love the living creatures put in front of me ( though I must admit, I greatly struggle with insects, rats and snakes). It is not my place to judge, only accept and try to share my journey with others. I get greatly frustrated with those who condemn others. I know I am a very flawed human being, so what right have I to think I am better than anyone else. I seek not to be religious, just loving....though I am far too religious at times and can be very unloving, especially when I drive or am in pain, or feel attacked. I want to be like the great examples given us in both biography and fiction. My understanding of God is Jesus. Though I must admit, because of my brothers and sisters who would disrupt funerals to condemn people for what they are born to be; because of brothers and sisters who put the God of capitalism in front of the God they say they believe, who refuse to help a poor person only because they are turned off by being asked to share their money.....because of those people I am ashamed to call myself Christian. But I am not ashamed to say I follow someone who broke the rules to recognize women, to recognize those not the same, to recognize his enemies, to care for those that were put I. Front of Him I am not ashamed of His name....Jesus....Jesus.....Jesus. I share this prayer not to brag in my faith....for I am the most broken of humans, I share it to say I saw a light, I turned it on in my life and I have discovered a great good. I want to be a better person. Forgive me, if I have hurt you by not responding to a post that showed your pain, for not always being patient. this is my prayer for this day. I just felt like writing it down. I hope we all have a good day, seeing all the good around us and inside us. Amen.
