I believe Im right in saying that Jon Snow did his first ever piece-to-camera to my Jon, then a news cameraman at ITN. Snow is a true giant among news journalists. A decent, honourable man who calls it as he sees it. Hes just back from Gaza and what he witnessed there - a man who has covered more conflicts than most of us have had hot dinners - has caused him to drop the journalists objectivity mantle and speak out.
