I believe every man has the ability to be a FANTASTIC man when paired with a strong woman who is able to share her vulnerability and fears. Despite this fact, I see so many women hurting and in pain. I remember writing this years ago when I was hurting too. It was such a painful time for me. I just want each and every one of you to know that your time will come! Your night and shining armor is just around the corner I hope you enjoy this poem I wrote during my time of pain. I hope it encourages all of you ladies to hang in there & to always stay open hearted My heart once was broken and I cried all night tried to speak but it ended up in a fight Gave it my all and then a little more only to turn and walk out the door You never listened when I talked... yet you listened when I walked Opening your eyes to what could have been but now we will have to remain friends taking the blow right to your face now that Ive ended this crazy rat race Im stepping forward to what will be making a move to love only me As I embrace and let my true heart shine finding someone who will appreciate my time To all the women who once loved a man Only to find his head was stuck in the sand This poem I share with you tonight Letting you know it will be all right
