I believe in prayer. I believe in God. I believe that God can do ANYTHING. I also believe that this prayer was specific to Israel, and that modern Christians must be careful to not confuse the Church with Israel. Im not saying that that is the case here. I will never discourage Christians from praying!! In my heart, I am quite certain that the die is cast and that the beginning of the End is long past. Looking at the world around us, I would say that the time of the Tribulation is near, and that the return of Christ is imminent. When I hear cries to Pray for peace, I am reminded that peace will probably come very soon in the form of the Anti-Christs treaty in the Middle East. Forgive my doomsday mindset. I think prayer and faith in the one God is our only hope. Among individuals, peace is a gift that is freely available through the Prince of Peace. We should pray that His peace will be manifest more and more in the hearts who submit to him. It will NOT be visible on the news. Continue to pray, but expect your results INSIDE the Kingdom of God, which currently resides inside these jars of clay.
