I believe in protecting the lives of both mothers and children. Unfortunately yesterdays federal court decision is harmful to both. This is another example of legislating from the bench by an unelected Federal Judge without regard to the elected representatives or the will of the people. This decision puts women’s lives in danger by denying them the protections passed by the Legislature that raised the standard of care to the level of other free-standing surgical facilities.
