I believe in the power of prayer...always have. Just didnt understand the pray regardless prayer practice until a few years ago. Not to be mistaken for the absence of daily prayers. From the time my Momma would say, when yo behind gets off that school bus,(talking through her teeth...lol) Imma WHOOP YO BEHIND! And when she would NOT be home or simply changed her mind...when I got off the BUS...I learned to say THANK YOU GAAAAWD!!! Thats an answered prayer! Of course, life has more complexities than the proverbial non-sparing of the rod. I have realized that even when it seems that my prayer isnt answered...it is still heard. God still hears a sinners prayer. I am at a place of loving this peace in the midst of pain or plans unaware. Years ago, I recall reading Philipians 4:11; Not that I speak in respect of want; for what I have learned, in whatsonever state I am, with that...be content! And thinking...Paul could NOT have known the plight of single parenting when he said, be content, in whatever state youre in Through the years, while waiting on GOD to move...I learned to yet be thankful and grateful and in that came peace and contentment. #justsharing #praytoday
