I believe in the power of revising what I write and making it so that other people find it easy and compelling to read. But there is a time for revision and a time for just getting your truth out there. Ive been largely sitting on my talents as the poet for the last six years. So now Ive going to write a poem right now in five minutes, read through it once as a form of revision and post it. The Time is Now 9:42 AM What can be said in five minutes? The international news looms with fangs of terror, and dooms day prophecy. Im not going to solve it in this five minute poem. But I do send all the problems and disabilities and pending disasters of the world love. We all are making the future as I type this. Predicted disasters are predictions. They are not the truth. Love creates a new future. Our loving actions, each one, even the smallest ones ripple out into the world to greet the problems, to greet the dooms day prophecies with love and say YES there is another way The Time is Now 9:47 AM
