I believe leadership is a privilege. It’s also a responsibility. It demands risk and accountability. When placed in a position of leadership one of the most critical areas is raising a successor, the one who will carry the vision after you had gone. Succession planning is a process of identifying and developing internal people within the organization and preparing them for advancement for more challenging roles. Ours is a great nation blessed with great leader who amidst of many accusations of not grooming a leader proved many wrong. Theirs is a tale of a mentorship throughout the years.
