I believe many have a "faith" for salvation - because there is no "immediate" result or consequence. They can convince themselves that all is ok, while pushing off judgment(results) to a later date(out of sight out of mind-false peace). Now asking them to believe and pray for things that will have an immediate result(miracles) seems all too revealing of their lack of faith. It seems you would be asking them to "believe" in too much .....Where is your faith? Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. I see many "christians" who justify living in pain, affliction, and not being healed because they have no faith for it. They will say things like "Well, I abused my body - this is my reward", or "I am just reaping what I have sown" and on and on. Think for a moment how you abused your soul in times past? Think what you sowed Spiritually and yet you are trusting God has done a work in your heart, He has saved you and set you free. Somebody needs to get ahold of this today - HE IS ABLE! You CAN be made whole - BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT! Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
