I believe that Crabzilla will be discovered as a hoax. This - TopicsExpress

I believe that Crabzilla will be discovered as a hoax. This video (as well as many others) apparently shows a 50 foot wide giant crustacean hanging out just outside a British harbor in the UK. I believe this is no more than a photographic hoax; a Photoshop adaptation. Here are my reasons to believe this is a hoax: A crab of that width would have a proportionate height. In the case of an average crab, that would mean the crab could be about 15 to 20 feet from the base of its shell to the top. With that height, it would likely be partly out of the water given its location in the harbor. It clearly appears submerged. The area it is located would be very shallow, no more than a few feet deep. Its hind legs (at the top right) appear to be in contact with the dockside, if not slightly underneath. This type of dock has no underside unless you count the soil beneath the pavement and within the concrete embankments. Crustaceans in general prefer to be out of visual discovery, and would hide in dark areas or in hidden crevices. Crabzilla is out in the open in a well lit body of water. The residents and other people nearby have never even seen this creature before this photo was released. There is no active video of the creature, even though it is in an area which would be easy to capture video from. There is only the one image shared, which means only one image had to be hoaxed in order for it to be newsworthy. You be the judge, Im convinced it is just a photo hoax. youtube/watch?v=6cewJBiNUvk
