I believe that a woman who wears her confidence with panache is a remarkably beautiful woman. As JJ Mathura when people see me there are many who expect perfect make up, perfectly coiffured hair, designer clothes and drop dead gorgeous shoes. Well like most women, I love shoes and of course designer garments are not a bad investment either. However, if truth be told I run around everyday in my Patiala suits or kurti and leggings, face devoid of make up and my hair in a pony tail. Do I advocate this? Not really but when I have days that are truly busy I take the easy way out and honestly am also guilty of what I term self negligence! The amazing thing is that my children still think I am beautiful and my husband is still very much in love with me. But when I do take 5 minutes to do my make up and 15 minutes to style my hair the reaction I get from them is priceless! :) Check out this amazing makeup video from Glambooth. So, if you are a busy Mom, a working wife or an over worked single woman, I urge all of us to pledge today that we will make a concerted effort to give ourselves half an hour everyday dedicated to hair and make up. It does add to your confidence level and besides I think we owe it to ourselves to enjoy some pamper time! Dont you agree? I wonder what the family will think of me dressed like a Zee TV housewife, cooking and cleaning??? :) :) :)
