I believe that every word that someone claims is from God needs to be tested. What most forget is that the bible will tell you how to test. Do not depend on other mortals to come up with something they like. it will not be of God. The KJV does not use the word test, it uses the word Try tho. Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: Jeremiah 17:10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. 1 Corinthians 3:13 Every mans work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every mans work of what sort it is. 1 John 4:1-3 King James Version (KJV) 4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Jesus truly did come in the Flesh. Remember also what Jesus taught about where the truth comes from - John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
